When you look at a picture, sometimes you don't see it as much as you feel it. Pictures trap meaning and raw emotion, then suspend them in time. Even a photo from 100 years ago carries with it that same meaning. That raw emotion. That certain weight. That Freight.
Freight is a collective of Canadian photographers who work together to bring art to life. Here you will find fine art photography, reportage, still life and street. We work primarily in film, then develop and print in the darkroom. We founded Freight to help each other as an individual group of independent photographers.
